Social selling on LinkedIn in just 3 minutes a day? ⏱

Effective social networks, It's kind of like brushing your teeth!

Every day, yes, but still not for hours; especially when you are commercial and have something else to do, say, more traditional commercial actions (but which retain their relevance)

Because no, the Social Selling did not kill the "classical" sales process, these commercial actions still work: business appointments, drawing up proposals, followed by customers by email, telephone, etc...

In fact, the question that comes up most often, on the part of salesmen/sellers, when I anime Social Selling formations is as follows:

How to be effective on Linkedin in a MINIMUM of time ??

Excellent question, huh? 😀

My answer: As with many things in life, what makes it possible to be effective in a limited time is the method, with its inevitable allies: rigour and discipline.

Of course, LinkedIn can prove to be extremely time-consuming.

We can even safely say that it's a little made for...

Indeed, the more time you spend on LinkedIn, and the more Linkedin loves you. And reward you by boosting (slightly, this is absolutely not the only criterion) your walking on their algorithm. And incidentally your SSI score

Ideally, for a commercial BtoB, 10 minutes / day would be optimal.

But if you only had 3 minutes a day on LinkedIn, What exactly would it be to do?

What is the "minimum trade union ", what are the essential actions?

A shortlist I think, 100% feasible from your smartphone, so anywhere:

  • Interact with 1 post of a key informant (which assumes that you have set your key informant list up front. Always within your Social Selling action plan); this key informant can be a client (closer links, more exchange), a prospect (with a positive and empathic approach), an influencer of course
  • Check the invitations received. Decide who to accept (this in connection with your Social Selling action plan on Linkedin, to have developed upstream) Do not forget that an ignored invitation can generate in the mind of the one who sent it to you, in some cases, very real negative feelings (he does not love me, he snobs me, he no longer wants to work with me, etc.)
  • Post an article previously "sourced" on the Web (which involves using and finely setting up content curation tools related to your editorial line). Make sure, however, before publishing that this article is both fresh (recent, really recent genre) and relevant to your market players
  • Comment a post on your company page. Especially if the person who manages it feels like "pushing on his own in his corner"; it would be nice to help him develop the audience of the page by relying on your own visibility Linkedin, right? I assure you that he or she will greatly appreciate your support. 😃

At a weekly level, other actions can be carried out, ideally from a PC. But this will be the subject of a future article, stay tuned 😃
